Leaders perform political tasks well
The Provincial Party Committee and Border Guard Command focused on leading and directing the thorough understanding of the Party's guidelines and viewpoints on the strategy of protecting the Fatherland in the new situation. Leading the comprehensive and synchronous implementation of measures to manage and protect the national border, organizing the management and firmly protecting the sovereignty and security of the coastal border areas under their responsibility.
Maintain strict combat readiness (SSCD) tasks, regularly organize patrols, control, practice SSCD transition plans and participate in drills to ensure safety and effectiveness. Effectively lead the work of grasping the local situation, drug and crime prevention and control tasks.

During the COVID-19 outbreak, the Party Committee - Border Guard Command launched the movement "All people participate in preventing and fighting COVID-19 and illegal entry and exit" in border areas. Mobilizing over 20,000 households and individuals to sign a commitment, voluntarily implementing the committed contents, maintaining and promoting the "mailbox" to report illegal entry and exit into the locality.

Officers and soldiers strictly maintained the SSCĐ duty shifts, increased patrols, strictly controlled people and vehicles entering and leaving the border area, and prevented the epidemic from spreading from outside into the border area of the province. In addition, hundreds of officers and soldiers of the Border Guard volunteered to participate in border protection and COVID-19 prevention at the Vietnam-Cambodia border, in the spirit of "fighting the epidemic like fighting the enemy".
