Deputy Prime Minister Tran Luu Quang has just signed Decision No. 638/QD-TTg dated June 5, 2023, of the Prime Minister appointing Major General Nguyen Van Than as Assistant Minister of National Defense .

According to the Decision, the Prime Minister appointed Major General Nguyen Van Than, Deputy Director of the Institute of National Defense Strategy, Ministry of National Defense, to the position of Assistant to General Phan Van Giang, Member of the Political Bureau and Minister of National Defense.
The decision takes effect from the date of signing.
