Ministry of Information and Communications improves the effectiveness of legal dissemination and education

At the meeting, a representative of the Legal Department of the Ministry of Information and Communications said that the work of disseminating and educating the law (PBGDPL) of the Ministry of Information and Communications has been carried out and deployed methodically and systematically, thereby helping to raise awareness of Party committees, Party organizations, cadres, Party members, civil servants and employees of the Ministry of Information and Communications about the position and role of the work of PLGDPL.

The Ministry of Information and Communications has issued decisions to direct the work of legal dissemination and education. Based on the decisions, agencies and units within the Ministry have been proactively implementing their assigned tasks. Some units have consulted and submitted or issued their own decisions on legal dissemination and education; the organization of the Legal Dissemination Council has been improved, and the activities of its members have actively implemented the assigned tasks.

In 2022 and the first 6 months of the year, 90 seminars, talks, conferences, and forums on legal dissemination in the field of information and communication were held; 05 policy communication competitions on information security, digital transformation, and information technology industry were organized; legal dissemination through mass media and provision of information and documents were promoted. The integration of legal dissemination activities through the management activities of the Ministry was strengthened; The implementation of tasks of applying information technology and digital transformation in legal dissemination was promoted.

Currently, the Ministry of Information and Communications has 131 legal reporters, this team participates in training courses to ensure the quality of legal dissemination; the annual budget for legal dissemination of the Ministry of Information and Communications does not use regular funds, the implementation of this work along with a number of other legal works has been given attention by the Ministry's leaders, arranged from other legal funding sources.

At the meeting, representatives of the Press Department, the Academy of Posts and Telecommunications, the National Digital Transformation Department, and the Information Security Department proposed a number of additional issues: increasing funding for propaganda for the implementation of Project 407; increasing experts to disseminate legal information to students; diversifying forms of legal dissemination; considering digital transformation as a breakthrough solution in legal dissemination; building online platforms to provide legal dissemination information to people; organizing more online competitions to learn about the law; effectively using social networks to disseminate legal information...
