Working with the leaders of Van Ho district, General To Lam, Minister of Public Security, commended the efforts and achievements of the Party Committee, government and people of all ethnic groups in Van Ho district over the past 10 years; at the same time, requested the locality to continue promoting the spirit of solidarity and excellently completing assigned tasks. Along with that, the district needs to exploit and promote its potential and advantages, strongly mobilize resources, improve people's lives; care for the lives and health of local people, especially poor and disadvantaged households. The district develops its socio -economy in association with strengthening national defense and security; combats, prevents and repels social evils, focusing on drug-related crimes.
On this occasion, General To Lam, Minister of Public Security, presented Van Ho District Medical Center with an ambulance worth over 1.2 billion VND and 20 gifts to poor households in the district.
After 10 years of establishment, up to now, the appearance of Van Ho district has changed a lot, the economy has maintained a good growth; culture and society have many positive changes; social security is ensured; people's lives are constantly improved; national defense and security are consolidated and enhanced. In particular, in 2020, with the attention and support of the Ministry of Public Security and Son La province, Van Ho district has effectively implemented the Project "Supporting poor households with housing difficulties in Van Ho district"; eliminating nearly 1,300 temporary houses, with great contributions from officers and soldiers of the People's Public Security force.
