Ministry of Information and Communications promotes the development of national-scale digital platforms in the direction of shared use

Currently, there are many software and management applications deployed by state agencies to the people (for example: VNeID, VssID, Electronic Health Book...), the Ministry of Information and Communications (MIC) has proposed a number of solutions to ensure consistency, synchronization, and enhance connectivity between these applications and digital platforms.

specific, the Ministry has issued and implemented the following documents: Vietnam e- Government Architecture Framework, helping to identify shared components at the central and local levels, connection models, and data sharing on a national scale;

Decision No. 186/QD-BTTTT dated February 11, 2022 of the Minister of Information and Communications approving the Program to promote the development and use of national digital platforms to serve digital transformation, development of digital government, digital economy , and digital society.

In addition, the Ministry of Public Security has put into operation and exploited the national database on population, the electronic identification and authentication system (VNeID) has brought convenience when people do not have to declare personal information many times on paper, can use 01 VNeID account to log in to many applications and services instead of having to remember many different accounts.

In the coming time, the Ministry of Information and Communications will continue to implement solutions to promote the development of national digital platforms in the direction of sharing, avoiding duplication, enhancing connectivity between applications and digital platforms, promoting e-government, and moving towards digital government./.
