Coast Guard Command visits Ninh Binh province for Tet

On the morning of January 29, a working delegation of the Vietnam Coast Guard Command led by Major General Le Quang Dao, Commander, visited and wished a Happy New Year to Ninh Binh province.

Receiving the delegation were comrades: Doan Minh Huan, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Mai Van Tuat, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Pham Quang Ngoc, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Colonel Dinh Cong Thanh, member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Commander of the Provincial Military Command; leaders of the Provincial Border Guard Command; leaders of the Provincial Party Committee Office and the Provincial People's Committee Office.

On behalf of the delegation, Major General Le Quang Dao, Commander of the Vietnam Coast Guard expressed his joy at the socio-economic achievements of Ninh Binh province in the past year and believed that with the wise leadership and direction of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, and People's Committee, together with the high determination of the entire political system and the consensus of all classes of people, Ninh Binh will continue to reap greater achievements in the coming time.

Coast Guard Command visits Ninh Binh province for Tet — Major General Le Quang Dao, Commander of Vietnam Coast Guard , delivered a New Year's greeting in Ninh Binh.

Regarding the outstanding results in the implementation of the 2023 tasks of the Coast Guard, Major General Le Quang Dao said: In 2023, the Vietnam Coast Guard Command did a good job of patrolling and controlling security and order in the sea. In particular, it effectively implemented the program "Coast Guard accompanies fishermen" for the period 2021-2025 signed with 28 provinces and cities nationwide, including Ninh Binh province.

In the coming time, the Vietnam Coast Guard Command hopes that Ninh Binh province will continue to pay more attention and encourage armed forces units in the province, as well as the Vietnam Coast Guard to contribute to performing well the tasks at sea, ensuring local defense and security, creating conditions for developing the marine economy.

On the occasion of the traditional New Year of the nation, Major General Le Quang Dao wished the Party Committee, government, army and people in the province a year of good health, happiness, family well-being, prosperity, new year, new victory.

Comrade Doan Minh Huan, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, sincerely thanked the affection, attention and coordination of the Coast Guard Command and Major General Le Quang Dao for the province. Informing the delegation about the outstanding results achieved by Ninh Binh province in 2023, he emphasized: In the context of general difficulties and challenges of the economy, Ninh Binh has completed and exceeded 14/17 planned targets; the economy maintained development, GRDP growth rate reached 7.27%, ranking 23/63 provinces and cities nationwide. Policies to ensure social security have always been of interest to the province. Party building, political system, national defense, local military, political security, social order and safety have been strengthened...

Ninh Binh province has a policy of striving to basically meet the criteria of a centrally-run city by 2030; and by 2035 to become a centrally-run city with the characteristics of a millennium heritage urban area.

The Provincial Party Secretary affirmed that the results achieved by the province have important contributions from the Coast Guard Command and the provincial armed forces. Ninh Binh will always accompany and closely coordinate with the Coast Guard Command to effectively carry out the assigned tasks, propagate and mobilize fishermen to strictly comply with regulations on fishing at sea, combat illegal fishing, and be determined to maintain national security and protect the sovereignty of the sea and islands of the Fatherland.

On the eve of the New Year of Giap Thin, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Doan Minh Huan sent his best wishes to all officers and soldiers of the Vietnam Coast Guard for good health, happiness and excellent completion of all assigned tasks.
