In recent days, due to the impact of storms No. 10 and 11, rain and flooding have occurred on a large scale in the northern mountainous provinces. Some areas in the provinces of Thai Nguyen, Tuyen Quang, Lao Cai, Cao Bang , and Lang Son have been severely affected.

With the spirit of "Serving the people", the Mobile Police Command mobilized nearly 700 officers and soldiers along with vehicles and equipment to rescue and help people overcome the consequences of the storm.

Officers and soldiers of the Capital Mobile Police Regiment, Northwest Mobile Police Regiment and Northeast Mobile Police Regiment have dispersed to assigned areas to support and help the authorities and people of the provinces overcome the consequences of storms and floods.

At flooded areas, the Mobile Police force urgently organized rescue, helped people, evacuated people to safe places, transported people's properties out of flooded areas and provided and supported people with food, drinking water, and essential necessities, ensuring that people did not go hungry or cold, while at the same time implementing plans to search for missing people, rescue and rescue people trapped and isolated in flood-prone areas.

At some locations, the Mobile Police force, together with the military and local authorities, worked overnight to reinforce dikes that were at risk of breaking and flooding densely populated areas.

Specifically, the Northeast Mobile Police Regiment, Mobile Police Command has mobilized more than 200 officers and soldiers along with vehicles and equipment to areas affected by natural disasters to support localities.

Help people move from isolated areas to safety.

On the morning of October 8 alone, the unit organized more than 70 officers and soldiers to depart from Quang Ninh to Cao Bang province to support the people. As soon as they arrived in Cao Bang, the officers and soldiers quickly supported the people, along with the local government and local forces, in implementing measures to overcome the consequences of the flood and clean up the mud.

In Thai Nguyen and Lang Son provinces, soldiers continue to assist in evacuating people from flooded areas. The priority is to quickly move people and their belongings from isolated areas to safety.

On the morning of October 9, officers and soldiers of the Capital Mobile Police Regiment and people urgently transported necessities, food, medicine and clean water to deeply flooded areas in Thai Nguyen province.

Previously, on the night of October 8, about 100 officers and soldiers of the Capital Mobile Police Regiment were assigned to Thai Nguyen to assist people in flood-affected areas.

On the night of October 8, officers, soldiers, and local forces urgently reinforced and filled a weak dike section at Ha Chau dike on Cau river, in Van Xuan ward and Phu Binh commune, Thai Nguyen province, to prevent floodwaters from entering residential areas.

The Capital Mobile Police Regiment also mobilized officers and soldiers to participate in supporting people to overcome the consequences of storms and floods in Trung Gia and Da Phuc communes, Hanoi.
