Coast Guard Region 2 Command wishes a happy new year to officers and people of Quang Tri province

This morning, February 2, the delegation of the Coast Guard Region 2 Command, led by Colonel Tran Hong Que, Deputy Political Commissar of the Coast Guard Region 2 Command, visited and wished a happy new year to the cadres and people of Quang Tri province. Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Dang Quang; Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission Le Thi Lan Huong received the delegation.

During the visit and New Year greetings, Colonel Tran Hong Que, Deputy Political Commissar of the Coast Guard Region 2 Command, said that Quang Tri province and Coast Guard Region 2 have effectively implemented the coordination program in the past time. At the same time, he thanked the provincial leaders, units and functional forces of the province for actively supporting the Coast Guard Squadron 202, contributing to helping the unit successfully complete its assigned tasks.

On the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2024, Colonel Tran Hong Que respectfully sends his best wishes for health, happiness and success to the provincial leaders, cadres and people of Quang Tri. Wishing Quang Tri province to continue to reap many victories in all fields.

Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Dang Quang acknowledged that in recent times, Coast Guard Region 2 in general and Squadron 202 stationed in Quang Tri province in particular have effectively implemented the coordination program between the unit and Quang Tri province, thereby helping people comply with legal regulations, especially for fishermen in the process of exploiting seafood at sea.

The unit has also effectively fought against all types of crimes; performed well in search and rescue work; actively supported the Quang Tri Provincial Standing Militia Squadron in training and combat readiness; helped the locality carry out social security activities and build new rural areas.

Affirming that in the coming time, the province will continue to build a close relationship with the coast guard force, increasing the force to firmly protect the sovereignty and security of the Fatherland's seas.
