Officers and soldiers of the Coast Guard Region 2 Command mobilized to deeply flooded and isolated areas of Hoi An Tay ward to approach and hand over 50 gifts (each worth 400,000 VND), including necessities such as bread, milk, soft drinks, dry food and 20 life jackets, to families isolated in the flood area.

Colonel Tran Hong Que, Deputy Political Commissar of Coast Guard Region 2, said that the cooperation of the unit and local Party Committee and authorities has promptly supported people in flooded areas, encouraging them to quickly overcome difficulties and shortages and improve their lives.

On the same morning, in Nui Thanh commune, when they discovered that fishermen's aquaculture cages had drifted from the upper reaches of the Truong Giang River to the unit's port, the Command of Coast Guard Region 2 mobilized Ship CSB 9032, Squadron 212 to rescue and anchor them at the unit's port until the fishermen who lost their property came to report and claim them.
