Colonel Tran Hong Que, Deputy Political Commissar of Coast Guard Region 2, said that the unit's cooperation with local Party committees and authorities has promptly supported people in the flooded areas, encouraging them to overcome difficulties and shortages and improve their lives.
On the morning of the same day, in Nui Thanh commune, upon discovering that the floating cages used for aquaculture by fishermen had drifted from the upstream of the Truong Giang River towards the unit's port, the Command of Coast Guard Region 2 dispatched the CSB 9032 vessel of Squadron 212 to rescue and secure them at the unit's port until the fishermen who lost their property came to report and reclaim it.
