Training on "skills in monitoring the implementation of investment policies and social housing transactions"

BTO-On the morning of May 9, in Phan Thiet City, the Center for Training Elected Representatives under the Delegation Work Committee of the National Assembly Standing Committee held the opening of the Training Conference on "Skills in supervising the implementation of investment policies and social housing transactions". Comrade Nguyen Hoai Anh - Alternate member of the Party Central Committee - Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Binh Thuan province, attended and delivered a welcome speech at the conference.

Attending the conference were 90 delegates who were Deputy Heads of the National Assembly Delegation (NAD), NA Deputies, Vice Chairmen of the People's Councils, leaders of the People's Council Committees and officers and experts of the Office of the NA Delegation and People's Councils of 20 provinces and cities including: Binh Thuan, Ba Ria - Vung Tau, Bac Giang, Bac Ninh, Ca Mau, Dak Lak, Hai Duong, Ho Chi Minh City, Kon Tum, Long An, Ninh Thuan, Quang Binh, Quang Ngai, Quang Tri, Soc Trang, Tay Ninh, Thanh Hoa, Tien Giang , Vinh Long.

At the conference, Mr. Nguyen Tuan Anh - Deputy Head of the Delegation Affairs Committee, emphasized: Developing social housing has great economic and social significance, not only meeting the housing needs of low to middle income workers but also contributing to ensuring social security, creating jobs, increasing income and stimulating consumption of people and businesses.

At the same time, it creates momentum for inter-sectoral development and the entire socio-economic life of the country and each locality. The conference aims to introduce to elected representatives specific information about social housing and basic skills to help delegates participate in social housing monitoring delegations.
On the other hand, it is an opportunity for previous National Assembly deputies to exchange and share experiences with current deputies, helping deputies grasp and know how to apply some of the most basic skills when analyzing specific policies for each field.

In his welcoming speech at the conference, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Hoai Anh provided an overview of the province’s socio-economic, political, cultural performance and socio-economic development orientations in the coming time. He emphasized that Binh Thuan has made remarkable progress based on three pillars: industry, agriculture and tourism.
Up to now, in Binh Thuan province, there are 6 social housing investment projects and they have been supervised by the Economic - Budget Committee of the Provincial People's Council in 2023. Therefore, the conference is a good opportunity for Binh Thuan province to learn and refer to good practices and good experiences in policy implementation and especially in monitoring investment policies and social housing transactions.

According to the program, the conference will be held for 2 days (May 9-10). At this conference, delegates will have the opportunity to discuss with experts and scientists many contents related to the overview of the implementation of legal policies related to investment and social housing transactions; skills in supervising the implementation of investment policies and social housing transactions; skills in analyzing and processing information related to regulations on social housing transactions to serve monitoring activities; skills in supervising regulations related to social housing transactions. In addition, at the conference, delegates will also be organized by the reporters to do practical exercises according to the topics.
