(CLO) On October 31st, in Hanoi, the Center for Journalism Professional Training – Vietnam Journalists Association organized a training course on using Adobe Photoshop software for editing and processing journalistic photos.
Over 30 participants from central and local media agencies attended the training course, all members of the Vietnam Journalists Association.
During the two-day training course, instructor Nguyen Tien Dung - former Deputy Head of the Editorial Secretariat of Dai Doan Ket Newspaper - imparted some basic skills and methods for using Adobe Photoshop software and its application in editing journalistic photos and graphic products for e-magazine.

The instructor also introduced and guided users on the use of Photoshop's tools: Filters, Clipping Masks, Layer Masks, applying Layer Style effects, color balancing, cropping images, and creating with color blending modes; they also introduced Action and Preset effects in Adobe Photoshop…
Through this course, students will acquire some image processing skills using Adobe Photoshop software for journalistic photos and Emagazine publications. This will enable them to effectively apply these skills in modern journalism, increasing the appeal and experience for readers.
