The Toxic singer (42 years old) said she had surgery on her left leg three times, "twice on her knee and once on her foot".

"The doctor said the bone can heal itself. I always have to have surgery and then the pain gets worse so this time I'm being stubborn and seeing if my body knows how to heal itself," she added.

Last week, Britney Spears shared a video of her "swollen" right foot less than 48 hours after being treated by paramedics following an incident allegedly involving Paul Soliz at the Chateau Marmont hotel in Los Angeles.

In the clip, the pop star shows her fans a side-by-side comparison of her injured and healthy foot. The swollen foot has bruising around the ankle, heel and toes.

"I guess my foot is a little more swollen today. My foot is really big now. You can compare it to my good foot," she said, zooming in on her twisted ankle.

Spears made headlines last week after an incident that first responders said involved the Gimme More singer and her boyfriend Soliz, 37, at a luxury hotel.

Sources close to Britney Spears told Page Six at the time that an ambulance was called after an argument between the couple.

Although the mother-of-two shared pictures of her injured foot, she denied reports that she had been in a fight with her boyfriend.

"Just to let everyone know… it's fake! Last night I twisted my ankle and paramedics came to my door illegally. They never came in but I felt completely harassed," the singer wrote on social media.

A source close to Britney Spears' ex-husband, Sam Asghari, told Us Weekly that he "feels terrible" that his ex-wife's life now "isn't surrounded by good people."
