Editor Quang Minh confirms he does not advertise fake milk.
On the evening of April 18, through his personal page with more than 614,000 followers, BTV Quang Minh continued to speak out about the milk advertising controversy. Once again, he apologized to those who trusted him and bought the product, and because of that, their mental state was unstable in the past few days.
Editor Quang Minh said that on the morning of April 18, he had a working session with the Department of Radio, Television and Electronic Information (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism). According to Quang Minh, at the meeting, he provided full documents and cooperated seriously and transparently to clarify all concerns from the public as well as himself during the process of participating in advertising supplementary food products and milk.
"The advertising violations have also been clarified and I will be held responsible for my violations. After the meeting, I thought very carefully to write these words in the hope that everyone will clearly understand the issues related to my case. I once again clearly affirm that I did not advertise fake milk, and was not related to any fake milk brand in the 573 types of fake milk that were dismantled by the authorities," he emphasized.

Editor Quang Minh continued to share: "When accepting the advertisement, the brand also provided me with full documents such as: product self-declaration paper, advertising license, microbiological testing, standard ingredient testing, production license, standard factory... all documents are licensed by competent authorities and in accordance with current laws. The script when filming the video was also provided by the brand to ensure correct brand information, and up to this point, no authorities have concluded that the product is fake."
Never trade your family or personal honor for any material thing in the world.
According to Quang Minh, in recent days, many websites have used harsh words, with headlines like "BTV Quang Minh advertises fake milk", and used his image in their posts. He said that not only does it affect his personal reputation, work, and the psychology of those who have purchased the product, but it also directly affects the spirit of his children when they go to school.
"I completely understand the feelings of parents, especially those who have watched my videos and trusted me to buy it for their children. If they hear the information about "advertising fake milk", everyone will definitely be confused and extremely worried. As for me, I am the same, so I understand and cannot explain. I am extremely sad when I think about this. If the product I advertise is fake, I am definitely guilty of a very serious crime, and the law will handle it strictly," he wrote.
The male editor affirmed that he did not assist in fake milk, and would never trade his family or personal honor for any material thing in the world. Quang Minh expressed: "I do not want to confront public opinion, do not want to argue. I just hope that everyone will be alert, listen to many sides, and do not rush to judge before the matter is clarified. I have asked the brand to invite the authorities to get involved, to work officially on the quality of their products. I always hope that the brand will do business seriously, believe in the impartiality of the authorities, and I will continue to update everyone transparently when there is an official conclusion."
Quang Minh shared that after this incident, he seriously learned from his experience to focus on his career and family.
