Not enough food for students studying National Defense: What does the Director of Hue University say?

On the afternoon of March 2, answering VTC News, Associate Professor Dr. Le Anh Phuong - Director of Hue University said that he had received information that meals for students studying at the Center for National Defense and Security Education were reported on some social networking groups as "not enough" and of poor quality.

The Director of Hue University has directed the center to work with students and relevant departments to clarify the matter.

Previously, on a Facebook group called "Hue University of Foreign Languages", an anonymous member wrote: " Many K19 students studying military science still do not have enough to eat. A table of six people at this age is only as big as a meal for elementary school students... The chicken is all bones, the squid is rotten, the pork is all fat, six people but the portion is too small, even fed with sesame salt left over from the morning ".

According to this person, each meal costs 25,000 VND, so the cost of 150,000 VND for a meal for 6 people is not worth it.

After about 3 hours of posting, this article received hundreds of comments, many of whom shared the same opinion as the above reflection.

A student studying at the National Defense and Security Education Center of Hue University wrote that the reality of students going hungry with meals at this center was described completely accurately. Many students complained about the poor quality of the meals.

All students studying full-time undergraduate programs at member schools of Hue University must complete the National Defense Education program, studying at the National Defense - Security Education Center, Phu Bai Ward, Huong Thuy Town, Thua Thien - Hue Province.

The study period is about 3-4 weeks. Before going to school, students must pay tuition, food and some other fees according to regulations. During the study period, students eat at the center's dining area.
