Innovation Day 2025: Opportunity to connect the creative startup community

On the afternoon of September 25, the National Innovation Center (NIC) in collaboration with the Department of Innovation (SATI) organized the Information Announcement Ceremony for the National Innovation Day 2025 and the Vietnam International Innovation Exhibition 2025. The exhibition will be held for 3 days (October 1 - October 3) in response to the National Innovation Day (October 1).

According to the Organizing Committee, the National Innovation Day Response Ceremony took place on the morning of October 1 with the participation of leaders of the Party, State, ministries, branches, localities, along with the business community, research institutes, universities, investment funds, international organizations and the media, expected to attract more than 800 delegates.

At the ceremony, the Local Innovation Index (PII 2025) will be announced along with many activities launched in response from Enterprises, International Organizations, and experts.

Speaking at the Information Announcement Ceremony, Mr. Vu Quoc Huy, Director of the National Innovation Center, emphasized: “The National Innovation Festival and the Vietnam International Innovation Exhibition are one of the activities to concretize Resolution 57/NQ-TW of the Politburo on scientific and technological breakthroughs, innovation and digital transformation. This is not only an occasion to honor the products and achievements of Innovation, but also an opportunity to exchange and connect elements in the innovation ecosystem.”

At the Vietnam International Innovation Exhibition 2025, there will be activities to display and introduce new products and technologies in 11 key sectors in Decision 1131 of the Prime Minister dated June 12, 2025. At the same time, in addition to the Exhibition, there will be many activities such as forums and seminars on innovation policy mechanisms, strategic technology sectors, high-quality human resource development, and promotion of STEM education .

The forum “Promoting innovation and developing strategic technology industries” is considered the most important highlight within the framework of the Vietnam International Innovation Exhibition 2025. The forum brings together the participation of many leading technology corporations in the world such as World Bank, NVIDIA, Qualcomm, Meta..., focusing on key areas including semiconductors, artificial intelligence, quantum, cyber security, aviation - aerospace.

In addition, the Forum Unleashing the Potential of French-Vietnamese Innovation will have the presence of Nobel Prize-winning scientist Serge Haroche – an outstanding physicist, winner of the Nobel Prize in Physics in 2012. The presence of a world-class scientist not only affirms the international stature of the event but also spreads the inspiration for research and the desire to conquer scientific knowledge for the Vietnamese science and technology community.

Sideline activities such as: Kick-off program of the 2026 National VEX Robotics Tournament and honoring individuals and groups participating in international STEM competitions; Electric car experience, STEM experience for students and innovative product voting program - Better Choice Awards.

This year's exhibition will also have many booths from leading technology countries such as the US, Germany, France, and Japan, creating a space for international exchange, opening up opportunities for cooperation, promoting investment and developing cutting-edge technology, contributing to realizing the goal of making Vietnam a high-income country by 2045.
