TPO - During the month of July, in gratitude to former youth volunteers and families who contributed to the revolution, the youth of Ha Tinh province carried out many meaningful activities.

In response to the peak day of activities honoring the Youth Volunteer Force, Youth Union branches at all levels in Ha Tinh province simultaneously organized many meaningful activities such as: providing free medical examinations and medicine; donating livelihood models; and cooking meals of compassion. The photo shows the Ky Anh District Youth Union, in coordination with the Provincial Police Youth Committee and the Ha Tinh City Health Center, providing free medical examinations and medicine to 107 Youth Volunteers, the elderly, and beneficiaries of social policies.

The Ha Tinh Provincial Youth Union directed its affiliated organizations to hold "Meals of Gratitude," creating a warm and joyful atmosphere as former Youth Volunteers gathered around the family dinner table at their homes. This is one of the highlights of this year's gratitude-showing activities.

The "Meal of Compassion" activity is a gesture of care and a way for young people to spread the spirit of remembering their roots by caring for families who have contributed to the revolution.

According to the Standing Committee of the Ha Tinh Provincial Youth Union, to express gratitude to the Youth Volunteer Force, in recent days, Youth Union branches throughout the province have organized 51 activities at the district level and 192 activities at the grassroots level, attracting a large number of young union members to participate. In response to the Day of Gratitude to the Youth Volunteer Force, the youth of Hong Linh town presented gifts, cooked meals of gratitude, and organized a program of charitable porridge...

Over the past period, the youth of Ha Tinh have coordinated the donation of 327 gifts worth nearly 163 million VND; and provided livelihood models to former Youth Volunteers' families in difficult circumstances.

In addition, 35 programs providing free medical examinations and medication were organized for nearly 1,500 former Youth Volunteers and families of policy beneficiaries and those who have rendered meritorious services to the revolution.

In particular, the Youth Union branches organized 76 "Meals of Compassion" for elderly former Youth Volunteers living alone; provided financial support for the construction of charitable houses, and the renovation and repair of houses for more than 56 former Youth Volunteer families.
