Military doctors provided free medical examinations and medication to the local people at Treatment Team 78.

This is a practical activity to express gratitude to beneficiaries of social policies, and at the same time to celebrate the 81st anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army (December 22, 1944 - December 22, 2025).

Over 300 wounded soldiers, sick soldiers, relatives of martyrs, families with meritorious contributions to the revolution, and people in difficult circumstances in the area received clinical examinations, general ultrasounds, electrocardiograms, blood tests, urine tests, health consultations, and medication prescribed by doctors and medical staff of Treatment Team 78, Logistics and Technical Department, Region 5 of the Navy.

Cases involving medical conditions beyond the expertise of the local medical staff are referred to higher-level facilities to ensure timely and appropriate healthcare.

To ensure the program's effectiveness, the Command of Naval Region 5 proactively coordinated with local authorities to compile a list of beneficiaries, arrange transportation for those with mobility difficulties or living far from the medical examination and treatment locations, and prepare sufficient equipment, supplies, and medical supplies... with a total budget of 90 million VND from the 2025 Military-Civilian Medical Cooperation Program.

Free medical examinations and medication distribution contribute to strengthening grassroots healthcare, caring for the health of people in border and island areas; at the same time, they strengthen military-civilian solidarity and promote the effectiveness of the Military-Civilian Medical Cooperation Program in the new situation.
