Accordingly, in the afternoon of the same day, during the digging process with TBM No. 1, a mud mixture was sprayed onto the ground in front of houses 25C and 25E Cat Linh, Cat Linh ward.

As soon as the discovery was made, the contractor immediately activated the project's emergency procedure, and relevant units stopped drilling by TBM No. 1 to reduce the amount of mud sprayed up while still ensuring the stability of the excavation face.

The contractor has taken remedial measures, mobilized maximum manpower, sludge suction trucks, collected and treated sludge at the site, and re-examined geological conditions in the area where the phenomenon occurred to stabilize the situation soon. Currently, MRB is closely coordinating with relevant units to accurately assess the cause and deploy technical measures to prevent similar incidents in the next phase.

According to records, at around 5 p.m. the same day, mud was still being sprayed from the ground in the above area. Previously, on February 20, in the residential area of lane 7, Giang Van Minh street (in Kim Ma ward, Ba Dinh district, Hanoi ), there was also an incident of underground tunnel additives from Nhon - Hanoi Railway Station spraying onto the ground, seriously affecting the lives and activities of people in the area.
