Burn with “Rock Concert – Heart of Vietnam” at Thang Long Imperial Citadel

Joining the series of events to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025), the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee directed Netmedia Joint Stock Company and related units to organize the program "Rock Concert - Heart of Vietnam".

The program is held completely free of charge, bringing to the audience the passionate, fiery atmosphere of famous hits alongside immortal revolutionary songs, dressed in a new, powerful and liberal look of rock. This is a meeting place where youthful aspirations, national pride and love for the Fatherland are sublimated through music .

The program brings together many of Vietnam's top bands such as Buc Tuong, Ngu Cung, Chillies, The Flob, Blue Whales, Thanh Am Xanh band, along with guest singers Pham Anh Khoa, Pham Thu Ha, Duong Tran Nghia and Meritorious Artist Duong Thuy Anh, promising to create an explosive and emotional musical party.

Mr. Nguyen Trung Dung, General Director of Netmedia, General Director of the program shared: “Following the success of the program “Proud to be Vietnamese”, we wish to bring a new, more youthful and energetic art space, which is “Rock Concert - Heart of Vietnam”. Rock is a strong, liberal music genre, associated with the spirit of freedom and aspiration. When revolutionary songs are dressed in the spirit of rock, they become a new voice, close and attractive to the young generation”.

“We hope that the program will not only be a large-scale music festival, gathering famous bands and beloved hits, but also a bridge for history to touch the hearts of young people through music. The program hopes to convey the message: Patriotism is not only about being proud of the past, but also about living fully today and building tomorrow together,” shared General Director Nguyen Trung Dung.

The special feature of the program is the first collaboration between the Thanh Am Xanh folk band and rock bands, creating unique and powerful performances. This is an affirmation that Vietnamese folk music can resonate and blend in any stage space, any era, even on a liberal rock background.

With explosive musical material, magnificent stage images and a calling spirit, “Rock Concert – Vietnam’s Heart” promises to become a highlight in the national art activities, lighting up the flame of Vietnamese pride and aspiration on the journey towards the future.
