A strategic step to promote green finance.

This agreement is expected to transform remittances into a "dual driving force"—both financial and human resources—for the development of a green and high-tech economy in Ho Chi Minh City.

In the roadmap to transform Ho Chi Minh City into an international financial center, effectively harnessing capital flows from overseas Vietnamese is considered a crucial link. According to the agreement, Nam A Bank commits to collaborating with HCMC C4IR to implement specialized financial programs aimed at attracting and directing remittances into key sectors such as science and technology, green infrastructure, and sustainable development.

This collaboration goes beyond simply acting as a financial intermediary. Both sides will jointly mobilize resources to implement an off-budget fund project, focusing on attracting experts and developing talent for Ho Chi Minh City. Through this, remittances will not only support people's livelihoods but also carry the mission of transferring knowledge and technology from the overseas Vietnamese intellectual community back to their homeland.

Domestic banks are actively implementing preferential policies and products to attract this capital, while meeting the increasingly diverse needs of overseas Vietnamese and their relatives. This not only helps to increase the country's foreign exchange reserves but also creates a strong bridge between overseas Vietnamese and their homeland, contributing to the overall development of the economy.

A representative from Nam A Bank stated: “Sustainable development is no longer an option but a prerequisite for prosperity. Through our cooperation with HCMC C4IR, Nam A Bank is committed to playing a crucial financial bridge role. We hope that every transaction of overseas Vietnamese at Nam A Bank is not just a banking service, but a direct contribution to the green and sustainable development of Ho Chi Minh City in particular and Vietnam in general.”

Nam A Bank is a pioneer in implementing the "Happy Hometown" policy with exclusive privileges for overseas Vietnamese, including preferential treatment in products, investments, and experiences.
