On the afternoon of April 26, according to a survey by reporters, many large hotels in Buon Ma Thuot City ( Dak Lak ) such as: Muong Thanh Hotel - Buon Ma Thuot, Saigon - Ban Me Hotel, Biet Dien Hotel, Dam San Hotel... all announced that they were fully booked for the upcoming April 30 and May 1 holidays.

A representative of Dam San Hotel said the hotel has 60 rooms, which are currently fully booked for the April 30 and May 1 holidays.
"Every year, there are no more rooms available during this holiday, but the difference is that this year, tourists have booked in advance instead of booking upon arrival. Maybe this year, the holiday plan was announced early and airfares have increased, so there are more tourists traveling from Ho Chi Minh City by road," he said.
Mr. Nguyen Son Hung, Head of the Tourism Management Department (Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Dak Lak province), said that currently, accommodation service establishments and 1-5 star hotels in the area are almost fully booked and cannot accept more guests during the holidays of April 30 and May 1. Small accommodation establishments also have high occupancy rates.
The tourism industry aims to increase the number of visitors to the locality during the April 30 and May 1 holidays this year by about 15% compared to 2019 (recent years were affected by the Covid-19 pandemic).
It is known that during the April 30 and May 1 holidays in 2019, the total number of tourists to Dak Lak province is estimated at 86,500.
