Singer Hoa Minzy builds a community bridge as a gift to the people of Ca Mau.

TPO - The Youth Committee of the People's Police, in coordination with the Ca Mau Provincial Police, recently held a groundbreaking ceremony for the An Hoa No. 6 bridge project in Da Bac commune, Ca Mau province, with the participation of singer Hoa Minzy - a representative young Vietnamese figure of 2025.

The groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of An Hoa Bridge No. 6 in Da Bac commune, Ca Mau province, is one of the meaningful activities in response to the launch of the 2026 Summer Volunteer Police Youth Campaign.

The An Hoa Bridge connects Da Bac B hamlet and Sao Luoi hamlet in Da Bac commune, Ca Mau province – an area that previously lacked a bridge. This is the main route for residents of Sao Luoi B hamlet to travel to the center of Da Bac commune. However, the movement of people in both hamlets has been very difficult.

Upon completion, the An Hoa 6 bridge will be 3.9m wide, with an inner width of 3m; 24m long, with a clearance of 2.1m for boats; and a load capacity of 3 tons. It will directly serve the transportation needs of 110 households with 340 people in the area.

Accompanying the program, singer Hoa Minzy shared: "Celebrating my 31st birthday, I've received so much love from my relatives, family, friends, and fans, so I want to take this opportunity to send a meaningful gift to the community. I would like to donate a new bridge connecting the hamlets in Da Bac commune, Ca Mau province - worth 528 million VND. As a small person, I'm doing a small thing, hoping to support the lives of the people and make travel safer."

According to the Youth Committee of the People's Public Security, the commencement of the An Hoa Bridge No. 6 project is one of the youth projects and activities in response to the launching ceremony of the 2026 Summer Volunteer Campaign of the People's Public Security Youth.

Through this program, the Organizing Committee, along with partner organizations and benefactors, wish to demonstrate a spirit of mutual support and compassion, sharing some of the difficulties with the government, people, and students in border and island areas of Ca Mau province, thereby contributing to the construction and development of the locality for the betterment of the region.

This summer, the Youth Committee of the People's Public Security will deploy volunteer youth teams to organize political activities, historical and traditional education; disseminate and popularize laws; participate in activities in response to the "Popular Education Movement"; organize free medical examinations and distribute free medicine to people in difficult circumstances, repair bridges for the people, and inaugurate computer rooms for children...
