A media representative for Le Violon restaurant confirmed that Justin Trudeau and Katy Perry spent two hours dining together earlier this week. A series of photos and videos posted by TMZ sparked rumors that they were dating. However, a spokesperson for the two main characters has yet to comment on the incident.

The date comes shortly after Katy Perry split from Orlando Bloom. The singer is currently on a global tour with stops in Ottawa, Montreal and Quebec this week and Toronto next week. Meanwhile, former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau split from his wife in 2023.
