Singer Taylor Swift could earn $1.4 billion thanks to Eras Tour

According to Pollstar, singer Taylor Swift's global tour, Eras Tour, became the first tour in music business history to gross more than $1 billion.

Pollstar estimates the tour's final gross will be $1.4 billion, based solely on the original value of tickets when they were originally sold, with the highest ticket price being nearly $500.

Taylor Swift's Eras Tour will break Elton John's record with Farewell Yellow Brick Road, estimated by Billboard to have grossed $887 million and is still growing with less than a week to go until it ends (July 8) in Stockholm, Sweden.

Previously, in January 2023, Elton John's tour became the first tour to reach the $800 million revenue mark.
