According to the report of the National Political Publishing House, Truth, in the first 6 months of the year, the work of editing and publishing books ensured quality, content, progress and aesthetics; 283 manuscripts were edited.
The theoretical, political and legal books of the Publishing House have political, social, cultural and historical values; have high knowledge content, and are effective in propagating, thoroughly understanding and organizing the implementation of the Party's viewpoints and guidelines and the State's policies and laws.
In particular, timely publishing of books that serve well and effectively important events, holidays, and major anniversaries of the country such as: Founding Day of the Communist Party of Vietnam February 3, Liberation Day of the South, National Reunification Day April 30, Birthday of President Ho Chi Minh May 19, 70th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory (May 7, 1954 - May 7, 2024), Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day... including many books published in foreign languages.

The leader of the Truth National Political Publishing House said that the books of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong have created a strong influence among cadres, party members and the masses. The books of the General Secretary have become "handbooks" for cadres and party members in various sectors and fields and have created large-scale political activities in many agencies and units.
Regarding the tasks in the last 6 months of 2024, the Party Committee and the leadership of the Publishing House identified many key tasks. In particular, focusing on completing the editing and publishing plan for 2024, especially books ordered by the Central Committee; books by General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong; books commemorating major holidays; books translated for Laos; books carrying out political tasks of agencies, units, organizations and individuals.
Along with that, build content orientation for book topics published in 2025, especially books serving Party Congresses at all levels towards the 14th National Congress of the Party.
