The Ho Chi Minh City Innovation Award is considered every two years for 7 fields, including: Field 1 ( economic development); Field 2 (national defense and security); Field 3 (state management); Field 4 (communication); Field 5 (literature and art); Field 6 (science and technology); Field 7 (creative startups).
The 4th Ho Chi Minh City Innovation Award was launched on September 8, 2023, receiving 292 projects, works, solutions, and topics registered to participate.
During the selection period, the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee assigned the agencies in charge of the 7 areas of the award to coordinate with the Saigon Giai Phong Newspaper and the Standing Agency of the Award Organizing Committee to disseminate the participating documents to collect opinions, including feedback on documents showing signs of intellectual property rights violations.
According to the Organizing Committee, the quality of the documents, projects, topics, and works registered to participate in the 4th Ho Chi Minh City Creativity in some areas has been improved, because the award selection criteria have been raised compared to previous times. In addition, the selection and screening work from the beginning was carried out seriously.
Through many selection sessions, the 4th Ho Chi Minh City Creative Award Council has selected 51 outstanding projects, solutions, topics and works to award, including 4 First prizes, 15 Second prizes and 32 Third prizes.
According to the Council of Fields and the Selection Council, the works and topics considered for the award are mostly highly applicable and effective, and are highly evaluated and scored. These are also works with high creativity, applying new techniques and bringing about efficiency.
After 4 times of organization, Ho Chi Minh City Creative Awards has honored 237 typical works, topics and projects.
51 authors and groups of authors with outstanding achievements, works and typical solutions won the 4th Innovation Award - 2025. Specifically:
Field 1 (economic development) has 9 products, including: 1 First prize, 2 Second prizes and 6 Third prizes.
Field 2 (defense and security) has 6 products, including: 1 First prize, 3 Second prizes and 2 Third prizes.
Field 3 (state management) has 6 products, including: 1 Second prize and 5 Third prizes.
Field 4 (media) has 6 products, including: 1 First prize, 1 Second prize and 4 Third prizes.
Field 5 (literature and art) has 9 products, including: 1 First prize, 3 Second prizes and 5 Third prizes.
Field 6 ( science and technology) has 9 products, including: 2 Second prizes and 7 Third prizes.
Field 7 (creative startups) has 6 products, including: 3 Second prizes and 3 Third prizes.
