Sharing at the award ceremony held on the afternoon of November 17, Van Nhi said she is a native of the martial arts land of Binh Dinh, currently a student at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (VNU-HCMC).
Holding the certificate in her hand, the female student was moved because this was the most valuable gift she had ever received. Thanks to the contest, Nhi understood more about the teaching profession, the silent people who have devoted their whole lives to spreading knowledge and love.

Van Nhi was moved when she learned that she won first prize in the "Beloved Teacher" contest organized by the Lao Dong Newspaper.

"I especially want to thank the teachers who are implementing the project "Good books for primary school students". They are the teachers who silently carry boxes of books to students in remote areas - where sometimes, a book can change a child's childhood" - the female student emotionally said.
The young female author sent her sincere thanks to the contest organizers and wished to donate a portion of the prize to share the difficulties of the people in the Central region affected by storms and floods.
"In recent months, the Central region has suffered heavy damage due to storms and floods. As a son of Binh Dinh, I understand the losses that people are suffering. I would like to contribute a part of my prize to the "Central Heart Fund" as a way to share, a way to send back the good things that this contest has brought to me" - author Van Nhi shared.
Dream of becoming a reporter
As an extroverted, active and passionate girl, Nhi hopes to graduate from university with honors and find a stable job so she can help her parents take care of her younger brother's education.
"I used to be quite introverted, my high school years only focused on studying. When I applied for university, I was hesitant between majors such as economics , languages... until I found out about the University of Social Sciences and Humanities" - Nhi confided.

From an introvert, the female student became one of the most active students at school.

Thanks to studying journalism, Van Nhi gradually became more confident when communicating and interviewing people.
At the age of 18, Nhi chose journalism because she wanted to challenge herself and change to become a new version of herself. At first, her family, especially her grandmother and mother, were quite worried, afraid that Nhi would have a hard time or face danger while working. But thanks to studying with dedicated and experienced teachers, Nhi became more determined to pursue journalism.
During the process of creating the work, Nhi promised herself that one day in the near future she would become a member of the project “Good books for primary school students”, helping teachers carry books to remote areas, helping poor children have more opportunities to access knowledge.
