Border Guard Academy announced 3 admission combinations for 2026, all with Literature and Math subjects

On November 17, the Border Guard Academy announced that it would use 3 admission combinations for 2026 instead of the 5 combinations used in 2025. All 3 combinations of the School in 2026 have 2 subjects: Literature and Math.

The Border Guard Academy said that from 2026, the School will use 3 combinations for both training majors, Border Guard and Law, as follows: C03 (Literature, Mathematics, History); C04 (Literature, Mathematics, Geography); D01 (Literature, Mathematics, English).

According to the School, this adjustment is to comply with the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training . Current university admission regulations require that the subject combination used for admission must include at least 3 subjects suitable to the characteristics and requirements of the training program, including Mathematics or Literature with a weighted score of not less than 25%; from 2026, the total number of subjects in the combination must contribute at least 50% of the weighted score.

The Border Guard Academy explained that the plan to use combinations based on Literature and Math - also the two subjects that 100% of candidates take the graduation exam - and change the third subject should result in combinations C03, C04, D01. The three combinations for admission in 2026 as above are the optimal plan and are the most agreed upon by many experts.
