At the meeting, Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoang Lan said that by early November 2025, the Organizing Committee of the contest had received nearly 300 entries. Most of the entries were of high quality, carefully invested with neat and tidy scenes... "spread evenly" across localities in Vietnam, highlighting the beauty of each region, including Vietnamese and foreign authors.
"To ensure the highest transparency and fairness, we look forward to receiving comments from members of the Jury to unify the issued Criteria on factors such as content, message, standard score, etc. From there, we will select works worthy of entering the next round," Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoang Lan shared.
Reporting at the meeting, Ms. Vu Ngoc Trinh, Deputy Director of the Center for Digital Transformation of Culture, Sports and Tourism, a member of the Organizing Committee, said that from the launch date of August 13 to early November 2025, the Organizing Committee had received nearly 300 videos for the two categories. Of which, the content department had reviewed the videos that met the quality criteria and posted 177 videos. Of which, the short video category had posted 83 videos. The long video category had posted 94 videos.
In addition, the professional departments have completed voting on the website of the first round of video contests. As a result, in the short video category, the first prize went to the work "Saigon - The City That Never Sleeps" by author Truong Thi Yen Nhi; the second prize went to the work "Ngo Boat Racing Festival in Soc Trang - Colors of Rivers" by author Popcorn Mario; the third prize went to "Discovering Vietnam - Where the journey becomes inspiration" by author Truong Thi Kieu Dung. Meanwhile, in the long video category, the first prize went to the work "Chi Huy Cave" by author Le Vinh Quy; the second prize went to "Discovering the Hat through the Flycam lens" by author Ha Van Thinh; the third prize went to the work "Water Procession at the Hoa Lu Ancient Capital Festival" by author Nguyen Xuan Truong.
The Organizing Committee is conducting voting on the website for the second round of the contest, taking place from 0:00 on November 1, 2025 to 24:00 on November 8, 2025.
In the final stage, the Organizing Committee focuses on three main important tasks, including: Planning to prepare for the judging and award announcement; finalizing the criteria for evaluating the final round works to select the most deserving works and preparing the necessary categories, planning for the Award Ceremony (expected to take place in early December 2025).
At the meeting, members of the Jury contributed important ideas to perfect the Criteria Set in the most specific way, with special attention paid to the Professional Criteria to create the most accurate and detailed assessment of each work, ensuring detail and fairness in the assessment of the exam.
Concluding the meeting, Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoang Lan affirmed that after the meeting, the Organizing Committee will review the scoring criteria and ask for the final opinions of the members of the Jury before applying them.
