Normally, the weather in the North is mostly sunny and dry in late autumn and early winter, with daytime temperatures ranging from 27 to 32 degrees Celsius and humidity below 50%. However, this year, the autumn is short, the cold weather comes early and there is a lot of rain. Over the past two days, the area has been foggy, with light rain lasting for a long time, with the highest temperature being only about 28 degrees Celsius and humidity exceeding 80%, making houses damp and electronics susceptible to damage.
Meteorological experts say that the appearance of dampness in November is an unusual phenomenon. Normally, dampness usually occurs in late winter and early spring (from February to April) when warm and humid air from the sea flows inland.
The main cause of this early damp spell is determined to be the weakening cold air mass, shifting east, combined with the southeast wind bringing moisture from the sea. It is forecasted that the damp phenomenon may last for a few more days before the North enters the typical cold and dry period of winter.
