According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, early on the morning of November 10, storm Fung Wong entered the eastern sea area of ​​the North East Sea, becoming the 14th storm in 2025. This is a strong, fast-moving and complex storm, forecast to continue causing dangerous weather in the northern sea area and the middle of the East Sea in the coming days.

At 4:00 a.m. this morning, the eye of the storm was located at approximately 17.3 degrees North latitude; 119.3 degrees East longitude, in the eastern sea area of ​​the North East Sea. The strongest wind near the eye of the storm was level 13 (134-149 km/h), gusting to level 16. The storm moved in a West Northwest direction at a speed of approximately 25 km/h.

It is forecasted that in the next 24 hours, the storm will continue to strengthen and move in a northwest direction. At 4:00 a.m. on November 11, the center of the storm was at about 19.2 degrees North latitude; 117.7 degrees East longitude, still in the eastern sea area of ​​the North East Sea. The strongest wind near the center of the storm is level 13, gusting to level 16.

The storm then tended to move more slowly and change direction to the North-Northeast in the following days, moving towards the northeastern coastal area of ​​Taiwan island and gradually weakening.

At sea, on the day and night of November 10, the eastern sea area of ​​the North East Sea will have strong winds of level 8-10, the area near the storm's eye will have strong winds of level 11-13, gusts of level 16, the sea will be rough, waves 5-8 m high, especially near the storm's eye can reach 8-10 m. The eastern area in the middle of the East Sea will have winds from the West to the Southwest level 6-7, gusts of level 8-9, rough seas.

In addition, during the day and night of November 10, the northeastern sea area of ​​the East Sea will have storms, the central sea area of ​​the East Sea will have showers and thunderstorms, with the possibility of tornadoes and strong gusts of wind during thunderstorms.

Warning: From November 11, the northeastern sea area of ​​the East Sea will continue to be directly affected by storm No. 14, with strong winds of level 8-10, near the center of the storm level 11-13, gusts of level 16, waves 8-10 m high, and rough seas. Vessels operating in the area need to urgently and proactively move away from the danger zone to ensure the safety of people and vehicles.
