Mr. Tran Sy Thanh: 'In any position, I always consider Hanoi a place of special attachment'

Chairman of the Central Inspection Commission Tran Sy Thanh said that no matter what position he holds, he always considers Hanoi a place of special attachment, a beloved home that has given him much affection, and a spiritual support to continue to make efforts and strive.

On the afternoon of November 10, the Hanoi Party Committee held a meeting with comrades who were mobilized and assigned by the Central Committee to receive new work assignments at Central agencies.

Speaking at the meeting, Party Central Committee member and Chairman of the Central Inspection Commission Tran Sy Thanh shared that although his working time in Hanoi was not long, more than 3 years and 4 months, it was a great honor, a rich practical school and unforgettable memories.

“Every day working in the capital, I always clearly feel the weight of responsibility before the Party Committee and the People; the close leadership and direction with special affection from the Politburo , the Secretariat and the General Secretary himself for Hanoi; at the same time, I also feel the strong motivation from the spirit of solidarity, the will to rise and the aspiration for development of the entire political system,” said Mr. Tran Sy Thanh.

Looking back on the past journey, Mr. Tran Sy Thanh said that with high political determination, drastic, synchronous and creative actions, the Capital has achieved many important and relatively comprehensive results in all fields.

The work of building and rectifying the Party and the political system has been promoted, discipline and order have been consolidated; the capital's economy has maintained its growth momentum; development space has been expanded; key projects and works, strategic infrastructure, especially regional connectivity, urban infrastructure and digital infrastructure, have been gradually promoted in a synchronous and modern direction.

Mr. Tran Sy Thanh emphasized that administrative reform and digital transformation have been strongly implemented; the spirit of serving the people has clearly improved; specific mechanisms and policies according to the Central's orientation have been gradually concretized to liberate resources and unleash the potential and advantages of the Capital.

“Those results are the result of the solidarity, unity, intelligence and dedication of the entire Party Committee, government and people of the Capital, including the silent but very great contributions of each cadre, party member, and each collective agency and unit,” Mr. Tran Sy Thanh shared.

Ready to be a bridge, join hands to build the Capital

Being entrusted with a new task by the Central Committee, Mr. Tran Sy Thanh expressed his honor, saying this is a heavy responsibility entrusted by the Party, State and people.

“I am deeply aware that: All of Hanoi's achievements are the result of a thousand-year-old cultural tradition, the mettle and intelligence of Hanoians, the close direction of the Central Government and the solidarity, unity and determination of the entire Party Committee. Therefore, no matter what position I hold, I always consider Hanoi a place of special attachment, a beloved home that has given me much affection, support and valuable experiences, a source of motivation, a spiritual support to continue to strive, strive, train, maintain the qualities of a Party member and cadre, and best complete the assigned tasks,” Mr. Tran Sy Thanh expressed.

In his new position as Chairman of the Central Inspection Commission, Mr. Tran Sy Thanh affirmed that he will always strive to practice and preserve his qualities, ethics, and lifestyle; constantly learn, dedicate himself, innovate, and be creative; and wholeheartedly fulfill the tasks assigned by the Party, State, and People.

“I will always look towards Hanoi, follow, accompany and be ready to be a bridge, contribute intelligence, experience, mobilize resources, and join hands in the process of building and developing the capital,” Mr. Tran Sy Thanh emphasized.
