Trade promotion, connecting supply and demand in the Northern Delta region

The fair is part of the National Trade Promotion Program organized by the Department of Trade Promotion ( Ministry of Industry and Trade ) in coordination with the People's Committee of Hung Yen province.

Speaking at the ceremony, Director of the Trade Promotion Agency (Ministry of Industry and Trade) Vu Ba Phu emphasized that the fair is an important trade promotion channel, creating conditions for effective trade connections between manufacturers in the Northern Delta region with potential markets. At the same time, the fair is a bridge for investors and suppliers to seek cooperation opportunities, expand production and processing, and increase the added value of products of localities in the Northern region as well as the whole country in general.

The Director of the Trade Promotion Agency hopes that through this fair, businesses and cooperatives will take full advantage of the opportunity to promote their brands, seek partners to improve competitiveness, improve product quality to better meet domestic market demand and move towards export. Distributors, retailers and consumers will prioritize choosing quality local products, contributing to supporting farmers and agriculture to develop sustainably together, helping typical products and regional specialties spread more strongly.

Vice Chairman of Hung Yen Provincial People's Committee Le Quang Hoa, Head of the provincial trade promotion steering committee, said that the fair will take place for 7 days (from November 10-16) with nearly 300 booths of 200 domestic and foreign enterprises, cooperatives, and trade promotion organizations. This year's fair attracts a variety of products in 6 sub-areas with many fields such as: OCOP products, agricultural products - processed foods, agricultural products for rural development, handicraft products, traditional craft villages, ornamental products, fashion... and essential consumer goods.

Being an annual activity, the fair is an important, large-scale trade promotion activity to promote the socio-economic achievements of provinces and cities in the Northern Delta region as well as in the whole country; at the same time, it creates opportunities for businesses, cooperatives, trade promotion organizations and investors in the region to exchange, seek partners, expand markets and develop production and business.

For Hung Yen province, the event is also an opportunity to honor, introduce and promote typical local products, especially OCOP products and typical rural industrial products of the province to consumers nationwide and international friends.

The fair also aims to strengthen regional connectivity, promote product consumption, and find stable outlets for businesses' goods, thereby contributing to the development of the agricultural and rural economy and improving the competitiveness of businesses in the integration and globalization process.
