Mr. Tran Sy Thanh was elected as Chairman of the Central Inspection Commission.

On the afternoon of November 5, the 14th Conference of the 13th Party Central Committee elected Mr. Tran Sy Thanh, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee to join the Central Inspection Committee and hold the position of Chairman of the 13th Party Central Inspection Committee .

The Central Committee also agreed to let comrade Nguyen Duy Ngoc, Politburo member, Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee, Chairman of the 13th Central Inspection Committee, stop participating in the Central Inspection Committee and stop holding the position of Chairman of the 13th Central Inspection Committee to focus on the new tasks assigned by the Politburo.

The new Head of the Central Inspection Commission, Tran Sy Thanh, was born in 1971 and is from Nghe An. He has a high political degree; his educational background is a Master of Economics , University of Finance and Accounting.

Before being elected by the Central Committee as Chairman of the 13th Central Inspection Committee, Mr. Thanh held the positions of Deputy Head of the General Planning Department, Deputy Chief of Office, Chief of Office, Deputy General Director of the State Treasury (Ministry of Finance), State Auditor General, Deputy Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee, Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee.
