Speaking at the conference, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city, Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Student Association, Secretary of the City Youth Union, Chairman of the Vietnam Student Association of Hanoi Nguyen Tien Hung emphasized that the Youth Union of the capital's school sector needs to continue to innovate and diversify propaganda and education methods, apply science and technology in propaganda work, develop digital media, build a healthy cultural environment, and promote the pioneering and creative role of young people.
The movements "5 Good Students", "3 Good Students", "3 Practice Students" need to be implemented effectively, creating motivation for union members and young people to study, conduct scientific research, and comprehensively train. At the same time, the work of discovering and nurturing outstanding union members needs to continue to be focused on, contributing to improving the quality of introducing sources for the Party to consider and admit.
In the 2024 - 2025 school year, Party development work in the bloc received special attention. Units introduced 3,061 outstanding union members to participate in Party sympathy training classes, of which 2,125 union members were introduced to the Party for consideration, admitting 1,763 new party members. The Central Youth Union awarded certificates of merit to 34 collectives and 42 individuals with outstanding achievements in the Union work and youth movements of universities, colleges and academies in the 2024 - 2025 school year. Speaking at the conference, Executive Committee member, Deputy Head of the Youth Union and Youth Affairs Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city, Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam Student Association of Hanoi city Vu Thi Minh Hang said that in the past school year, the revolutionary action movements of the youth in the capital's schools continued to be deployed synchronously and in-depth, clearly demonstrating the core, pioneering and creative role of the youth force in all fields. In particular, the "Youth Volunteer" movement continued to be a typical strength, organized more and more practically, effectively and widely, bringing many practical results, many sustainable and long-term values, highly appreciated by local people, authorities, community and society.
In particular, the "Digital Education for All" model has become a prominent highlight, contributing to helping people access, get acquainted with and effectively use digital platforms, thereby improving the capacity of community digital transformation and promoting the comprehensive digital transformation process at the grassroots level. At the same time, union members and youth in the school sector have promoted the vanguard spirit in supporting the operation of the 2-level government model, participating in the digitalization of administrative data, guiding people to register online and organizing training courses on technology application skills in management, contributing to realizing the goal of building a digital government and digital society in the Capital.
The Youth Union and Association at all levels continue to promote their strengths and creativity in implementing propaganda activities to educate about traditions, ethics, lifestyle, culture, and awareness of law compliance for union members, association members, and young people in schools, through competitions, performances, seminars, and communication applications on social networking platforms, information technology on the internet, etc.
On this occasion, groups and individuals who are shining examples of determination in striving, training and dedication have spread their spirit, determination and youthful energy to the majority of youth and students in the capital, joining hands to build and develop the capital and the country in the new situation, and were honored, recognized and rewarded.
