General Nguyen Trong Nghia, Politburo member, Party Central Committee Secretary, Director of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army and Party Central Committee Secretary, Head of the Central Propaganda and Education Commission Trinh Van Quyet attended the conference.

At the conference, General Nguyen Trong Nghia expressed his emotion and joy at meeting the leadership team and staff of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission at a time when the Politburo had just made important decisions on organization, staff, and apparatus consolidation.

Affirming that over the past 95 years, propaganda and mass mobilization work has always gone hand in hand with the revolutionary cause of the Party and the nation, contributing significantly to strengthening trust and arousing the aspiration for national development, General Nguyen Trong Nghia emphasized that the merger of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commissions is a major, strategic policy of the Party, aiming to ensure a streamlined, unified, and effective apparatus, meeting the requirements of leading ideological and mass mobilization work in the new period. The Commission currently has 17 focal points, gathering a team of well-trained cadres with strong political will and rich practical experience in the fields of propaganda, theoretical education , journalism, culture - arts, science and education, mass mobilization work and other social fields.

General Nguyen Trong Nghia sincerely thanks the Politburo and the Secretariat for their trust and support during his tenure; thanks the coordination of the ministries, branches and sectors, and especially the solidarity and efforts of all cadres, civil servants and public employees of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission. General Nguyen Trong Nghia hopes that the Commission will continue to uphold its tradition, closely coordinate with central and local agencies, constantly improve the quality of its advice, and excellently complete all assigned tasks.

Receiving the new assignment, Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission Trinh Van Quyet expressed his honor and emotion when being entrusted by the Politburo and the Secretariat, headed by General Secretary To Lam, with the responsibility of Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission; affirming that this is a new field, holding a particularly important position in Party building work, and at the same time, it is also a great honor, requiring solidarity, courage and intelligence to successfully complete the task.

The Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission emphasized that propaganda and mass mobilization work is the work of "going first to pave the way, accompanying the implementation, following the summary", playing a decisive role in consolidating people's trust in the Party, creating unity of thought and action in the whole society. Head of the Commission Trinh Van Quyet hopes that the Commission will continue to uphold principles, promote discipline and responsibility, build a democratic and creative working environment, and take the effectiveness of consultation and social consensus as a measure of task completion.

The Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission also expressed his determination to approach new work, inherit and promote the valuable results and experiences of previous generations, and continue to build a strong Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission, worthy of being a trustworthy bridge between the Party and the people.
