Thanh Hoa proactively responds to storm No. 14

On the afternoon of November 10, Chairman of Thanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Hoai Anh issued Official Dispatch No. 33/CD-UBND requesting departments, branches, sectors and localities in the province to proactively respond to storm No. 14.

Accordingly, the Chairman of Thanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee requested the Provincial Military Command, Provincial Police; Departments of Agriculture and Environment, Construction, People's Committees of coastal communes and wards, Provincial Hydrometeorological Station, Thanh Hoa Coastal Information Station, Thanh Hoa Maritime Port Authority and related units according to their assigned functions and tasks to closely monitor the storm's developments.

At the same time, strictly manage the means of going out to sea as well as count and notify the owners of the means, captains of ships and boats operating at sea of ​​the location, direction of movement and developments of the storm to proactively avoid, escape or not move into the dangerous area. The dangerous area in the next 24 hours is determined from latitude 15.0 - 21.0 degrees North latitude; East of longitude 116.0 degrees East longitude (the dangerous area is adjusted in the forecast bulletins).

From there, prepare forces and means for rescue when required. As well as organize a serious 24/24 duty, regularly report the situation to the Provincial Disaster Prevention and Control Command Office, the Standing Office of the Provincial Civil Defense Command for synthesis and reporting according to regulations.
