An emotional night when the forces worked all night to ensure security and order, "staying awake so that the people can sleep well, standing guard so that the people can have fun", while many people were also awake, some people "hung mosquito nets" overnight in the area around the square and the streets where the parade passed, with an excited and proud spirit to witness the beautiful moments of the ceremony.
With a high sense of responsibility, Hanoi City Police have comprehensively deployed security and order plans to serve people and tourists attending the event; provided medical support and transportation so that veterans could fully attend the great festival of the country.

Among the veterans supported to attend the Commemoration Ceremony was Mr. Le Binh (born in 1927, currently residing in Hoang Liet Ward, Hanoi City ) - one of the "living witnesses" of history. After participating in the August 1945 uprising in his hometown of Thanh Chuong, Nghe An (now Bich Hao Commune, Nghe An Province), he continued to fight in Upper Laos and the Dien Bien Phu campaign in 1954. After that, he became an officer of the Guard Command, tasked with protecting Uncle Ho...

Veteran Phan Van Minh (born in 1958), a Cor ethnic group (Quang Ngai province), whose family works in forestry, is not well off financially, but with the desire to directly attend the "National Festival", he went to Hanoi, ready with the mindset of "sleeping anywhere is fine", as long as he can enjoy the atmosphere of the capital these days.

After understanding the circumstances and conditions of Mr. Phan Van Minh, the City Police contacted and arranged accommodation at the Hanoi City Police Guest House and coordinated with relevant agencies so that he could fully attend the A80 Anniversary Ceremony. Sharing their feelings and thoughts, the veterans all expressed their deep gratitude to the Party Committee, the Board of Directors of the Hanoi City Police and the officers and soldiers of the Capital Police as well as other functional forces for their timely support, creating the most favorable conditions for him to have the opportunity to attend the special anniversary event of the country.

Meanwhile, veteran Nguyen Van Thinh (born in 1951) from Phu Tho, who fought in Quang Tri, the battlefields of Cambodia and Laos, and the delegation of the province present in Hanoi felt very excited by the bustling atmosphere of the Anniversary and the moment of attending the ceremony. Veteran Nguyen Van Thinh emotionally expressed: "I would like to thank the Party, the State, and the forces for ensuring security and safety so that we could witness this very meaningful historical milestone of the 80th anniversary of the founding of the country."
Veteran Tran Van Dai, who worked at Regiment 66, Division 10, Corps 3, participated in the liberation of the Central Highlands, Saigon, and Cambodia, also expressed his gratitude for the attention of authorities at all levels towards veterans in general, and those who received support in particular, who were given the best conditions to be able to sit in favorable positions to fully watch the ceremony.

"Because we are all 70 years old or older, many of us are in poor health and cannot participate. If we do not participate today, there will be no more opportunities. I must say that it is a great honor to be part of the previous generation who contributed to the country, receiving the attention and care of the Party and State through policies for people with revolutionary contributions. And today, each member has a seat and can watch live like this. I am truly moved," he shared.
