DOJI is also trading gold rings at a high level with both ways at 124.5-127.5 million VND/tael.
As for the gold bar market, today is the second consecutive day of stability after soaring to 130.6 million VND in the selling price. Currently, businesses are keeping the average buying price at 129.1 million VND/tael. Some businesses such as Bao Tin Minh Chau listed the buying price at a lower level of 128.6 million VND/tael; while Mi Hong kept the buying price at a high level of 129.8 million VND/tael.
According to Kitco, the world gold price recorded at 4:00 a.m. on September 2, Vietnam time, was 3,474.51 USD/ounce, up 25.14 USD/ounce compared to yesterday. Converted according to the USD exchange rate at Vietcombank (26,502 VND/USD), the world gold price is about 111.12 million VND/tael (excluding taxes and fees). Thus, the price of gold bars is 19.47 million VND/tael higher than the international gold price.
