In addition to regulations on first-time registration and registration of changes in selling time, the draft also stipulates the conditions for businesses to stop selling, and the notification before stopping sales at gasoline retail stores to authorities and consumers.

To organize implementation, the draft specifies the responsibilities of relevant departments, branches, units and localities: Industry and Trade, Market Management, People's Committees of districts, cities, and enterprises with retail gasoline stores.

Concluding the meeting, the Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized: Regulations on sales hours should be issued soon to ensure strict implementation of legal provisions, prevent businesses and stores from closing to stockpile and wait for price increases, affecting consumer rights; at the same time, it is a legal basis to help authorities monitor, inspect and handle violations by businesses. This is a legal document, so the Department of Industry and Trade will coordinate with departments, branches and localities to continue to study and perfect the content and format of the regulations, ensuring that the factors are legal, concise, specific, easy to understand, not to be misunderstood or have multiple meanings causing difficulties in implementation.
