
On the occasion of the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2025), on the afternoon of July 24, Comrade Do Manh Hien, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Hai Phong City Party Committee visited and presented gifts to Vietnamese Heroic Mother Nguyen Thi Hao in Hong Bang ward.
Heroic Vietnamese mother Nguyen Thi Hao currently lives at 52/24 Hung Due Vuong, Hong Bang ward, and has a husband and son who are martyrs.
Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee Do Manh Hien expressed his deep gratitude and appreciation for the great contributions and merits of mother Nguyen Thi Hao in the cause of national liberation and was happy and excited to see that her mother was still healthy and clear-minded. He affirmed that the sacrifices and contributions of families of policy beneficiaries and meritorious people are shining proof of the spirit of patriotism, for the independence and freedom of the nation.
Appreciating those contributions, the city always pays attention and devotes resources to doing a good job of gratitude, taking care of the spiritual and material life of policy families and meritorious people, demonstrating the nation's traditional morality of "When drinking water, remember its source".

The Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee wished mother Nguyen Thi Hao good health, to be a shining example, and for her family to be a “revolutionary address” for the younger generation to learn and follow. At the same time, he hoped that the family would continue to promote the good revolutionary tradition, educating their children and grandchildren to actively study and work to become good citizens of the city and the country.
* In the afternoon of the same day, comrade Le Tri Vu, member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Head of the Organization Committee of the City Party Committee visited and presented gifts to Ms. Khoa Thi Tong (95 years old), mother of martyr Bui Duc Thu on Trung Hanh Street, Hai An Ward.
At the place of visit, the Head of the City Party Committee's Organization Board kindly inquired about the health and life of Ms. Khoa Thi Tong and her family. He expressed his deep gratitude for the great contributions and sacrifices of the heroic martyrs for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland; affirmed that caring for and showing gratitude to those who have contributed to the revolution is always a regular political task of the entire political system, demonstrating the nation's tradition of "When drinking water, remember its source" and "Repaying gratitude". He wished Ms. Khoa Thi Tong a happy and healthy life, and encouraged her children and grandchildren to continue promoting the revolutionary tradition and contributing to the development of the locality.
He suggested that the Party Committee and the Hai An ward government continue to pay attention to and implement preferential policies, material and spiritual support, and medical care for people with meritorious services and relatives of martyrs; promote the role of setting an example and educating the tradition of patriotism for the younger generation through the example of families with meritorious services in the area.
