National Futsal Cup 2025 with many new highlights

(NLDO) - The 2025 National Futsal HDBank Cup will have its opening ceremony on August 3 in Ho Chi Minh City, promising to bring many exciting surprises to fans.

On July 25, the announcement and draw ceremony for the 2025 National Futsal HDBank Cup took place in Ho Chi Minh City. This is the 9th consecutive year that the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) has coordinated with the Voice of Vietnam (VOV) to organize the top tournament of Vietnamese futsal.

The tournament will take place from August 3 to 12 at Lanh Binh Thang Stadium (HCMC), bringing together 8 teams including: Thai Son Nam HCMC, Thai Son Bac, Sahako, Hanoi , Tan Hiep Hung HCMC, Saigon Titans HCMC, Luxury Ha Long and Tre HCMC.

The teams are divided into two groups, playing a round robin to determine points, with the top two teams from each group advancing to the semi-finals. The opening ceremony takes place at 5:30 p.m. on August 3.

This year's tournament is also marked by the song "Glory on the Steps" exclusively composed by musician and singer Hoang Bach. The song was chosen as the official song of this year's tournament. This is a music project jointly implemented by the Organizing Committee, aiming to inspire players and fans. Previously, the song "Hien Ngang Futsal Vietnam" (Xam Rap genre) in the 2025 National Championship season made a big splash, attracting more than 10 million views on digital platforms.

VFF representative, Deputy General Secretary, Mr. Nguyen Minh Chau said: "The tournament is an opportunity for clubs to affirm their capacity, and at the same time help the national team's coaching staff evaluate and select players to prepare for the 2026 Asian Futsal Championship Qualifiers, which will take place from September 20 to 24."

Immediately after the tournament ends, the Vietnam Futsal Team will gather, aiming for high goals in the continental playground.

Prize structure:

Champion team: Cup, gold medal, honorary plaque and 200 million VND

Runner-up team: Silver medal, honors plaque and 100 million VND

Third place team: Bronze medal, honor roll and 50 million VND

There are also awards for other individual titles.
