On the morning of December 27, the 19th Provincial Party Executive Committee of Bac Giang held its 23rd meeting to elect the positions of Deputy Secretaries of the Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term. Comrade Nguyen Van Gau - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee chaired the meeting.
Also attending were comrades: Standing Committee members of the Provincial Party Committee, Provincial Party Committee members and leaders of a number of provincial departments, branches and sectors.
On December 26, 2024, the Central Party Office issued Official Dispatch No. 12748-CV/VPTW notifying the Central Secretariat's opinion on introducing personnel to fill leadership positions in Bac Giang province.
The Secretariat has proposed to introduce comrade Nguyen Thi Huong - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Inspection Committee to be elected as Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term, Chairwoman of the Bac Giang Provincial People's Council for the 2021-2026 term.
Introducing comrade Nguyen Viet Oanh - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department to be elected as Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term, Chairman of the Bac Giang Provincial People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term.
At the conference, 100% of the Provincial Party Committee members present voted unanimously to elect comrade Nguyen Thi Huong to hold the position of Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; comrade Nguyen Viet Oanh to hold the position of Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.
Speaking at the conference, Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Van Gau congratulated comrade Nguyen Thi Huong and comrade Nguyen Viet Oanh on being elected by the Provincial Party Executive Committee to hold the positions of Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term. He assigned the Provincial Party Committee's Organizing Committee to complete the documents and procedures and report to the Central Secretariat according to regulations. He requested the Provincial People's Council to soon organize a meeting to elect the final positions of Chairman of the Provincial People's Council and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term.
Comrade Nguyen Thi Huong was born on October 29, 1973. Professional qualifications: Hanoi Law University (major in Law), Hanoi Open University (major in Business Accounting), Master of Law; advanced political theory qualification. Before being elected as Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Comrade Huong was a member of the Standing Committee, Chairman of the Inspection Committee of the Bac Giang Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term. Comrade Nguyen Viet Oanh was born on July 26, 1980. Professional qualifications: Hanoi University of Transport (major in Road and Bridge Construction), Thai Nguyen University (major in Economic Law), Master's degree in Highway and City Road Construction; Advanced political theory qualification. Before being elected as Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Comrade Oanh was a member of the Standing Committee and Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department. |
