Ms. Nguyen Thi Lien, a trader at Hoa My market (Hoa Minh ward, Lien Chieu district) said that since July 13 (lunar calendar), she has proactively imported more goods, 1.5-2 times more than usual to serve people's shopping needs during the 15th day of the 7th lunar month. This year, the supply of vegetables, tubers and fruits is abundant, so prices have not changed much, only increasing slightly near the 15th day.

Specifically, green vegetables, tubers and fruits such as cabbage cost from 15,000 - 20,000 VND/kg; potatoes from 15,000 - 20,000 VND/kg, lettuce from 17,000 - 25,000 VND/kg, cabbage from 13,000 - 20,000 VND/kg, squash from 15,000 - 18,000 VND/kg, carrots from 3,000 - 8,000 VND/root, water spinach from 10,000 - 15,000 VND/bunch, cucumber from 13,000 - 15,000 VND/kg, tomatoes from 12,000 - 15,000 VND/kg...

From early morning, Ms. Pham Thi Hong Dao (Hoa Khanh Nam ward, Lien Chieu district) went to the market to avoid the crowded scene like every year, and also to choose the freshest and most beautiful products. Chicken is the item with the strongest increase, especially the price of rooster increased by 10,000 - 20,000 VND/kg, the price fluctuated from 120,000 to 150,000 VND/kg. Similarly, pork items such as trotters, belly, shoulder, ribs fluctuated at 100,000 - 130,000 VND/kg, beef such as flank, tenderloin, thigh... price from 230,000 - 320,000 VND/kg...

Similarly, stores and establishments that specialize in selling vegetarian food and making offerings said that since the beginning of the seventh lunar month, many families have started calling to place orders to avoid the situation of "out of stock" like previous years.

Ms. Le Thi Huyen, owner of a vegetarian food business at Hoa Khe market (Hoa Khe ward, Thanh Khe district) said that this year the demand for vegetarian food trays is higher than last year as many people wish for peace and fortune for their families and loved ones.

Currently, her shop has received 100 orders, double the number from last year. Due to the high number of orders, the kitchen has imported some ingredients to gradually process.

The price of vegetarian offerings is quite diverse, the lowest is 300,000 - 600,000/tray. In addition, there are also higher priced offerings depending on the number of dishes and ingredients requested by the customer, which can be up to more than a million VND per offering.
