How to move through Ben Luc - Long Thanh expressway intersections from today

Temporary highway sections that are only used for cars are strictly prohibited for people and other vehicles to enter, except for people and vehicles serving the management and maintenance of the highway.

The first section of the route from Km0+000 - Km3+420 (the section put into temporary operation on January 23) only allows trucks of less than or equal to 10 tons, passenger cars, cars and vehicles serving the project to circulate. Trucks with a load of more than 10 tons traveling from Long Thanh to Ben Luc must turn right to the intersection with National Highway 1 at Km3+420.

Section Km3+420 - Km16+600 and section Km50+530 - Km57+581 have a minimum operating speed of 60km/h and a maximum of 100km/h.

The operating speed of the main route from Km16+600 to Km21+850 is at least 60km/h and at most 80km/h. The maximum operating speed on branch lines is 50km/h, and on some branches at intersections and some connecting roads, the maximum speed does not exceed 40km/h.

How to move at Ben Luc - Long Thanh expressway intersections

Interchange No. 1 (at Km0+700) in Ben Luc district, Long An province.

Vehicles traveling on the Ho Chi Minh City - Trung Luong Expressway (two-way), when reaching Intersection No. 1, will turn down at the exits to enter the Ben Luc - Long Thanh Expressway through a section of road (300m) with special traffic organization (connecting section), passing through the toll station to enter the Ben Luc - Long Thanh Expressway to go to National Highway 1A.

Intersection No. 2 (at Km3+420) in Binh Chanh District, Ho Chi Minh City.

Vehicles traveling on the Ben Luc - Long Thanh Expressway (from Ho Chi Minh City - Trung Luong Expressway to National Highway 1A) turn right out of the expressway at the exit of Intersection No. 2, continue to turn left onto National Highway 1A to Long An or enter the roundabout of the intersection to exit onto Nguyen Van Linh Street (Ho Chi Minh City) on National Highway 1A.

Vehicles traveling on the main route of Ben Luc - Long Thanh expressway in the direction from Long Thanh to Ben Luc, from intersection No. 2 can turn right to National Highway 1A at Km3+420, then turn right to the exit branch of the intersection to exit the expressway.

Or continue straight on the main highway (no turning), to intersection number 1 (Km0+700). Note, trucks larger than 10 tons from Long Thanh to Ben Luc must turn right off the highway at this exit.

Intersection No. 4 (at Km21+850) in Long Thoi commune, Nha Be district, Ho Chi Minh City.

Vehicles on the main route of the Ben Luc - Long Thanh expressway from Ben Luc to Long Thanh when reaching intersection No. 4, then turn right at the branch exiting the expressway; then go through the toll station, travel on the access road to enter the intersection between the access road and Nguyen Van Tao street. Then the vehicle can turn right to Hiep Phuoc industrial park; or turn left to the center of Ho Chi Minh City via Nguyen Van Tao - Nguyen Huu Tho - Kenh Te Bridge - District 7.

Notably, this is the final intersection of the temporary exploitation route, requiring vehicles to turn down when reaching this intersection.

Intersection No. 7 (at Km50+530) in Phuoc An commune, Nhon Trach district, Dong Nai province.

Vehicles traveling on the road from Phuoc An port to intersection No. 7 turn right onto the branch to Ben Luc - Long Thanh expressway to National Highway 51. Vehicles traveling from Nhon Trach district to the intersection move along the roundabout, turn left onto the branch to Ben Luc - Long Thanh expressway to National Highway 51.

Vehicles traveling on the Ben Luc - Long Thanh expressway (from National Highway 51 to Phuoc An) turn right out of the expressway at the exit of intersection No. 7, turn left, then enter the roundabout to go to Phuoc An port or turn right to go to Nhon Trach district (on Truong Chinh street).

Intersection No. 8 (at Km57+581) in Long Thanh district, Dong Nai province.

Vehicles traveling on National Highway 51 (from Bien Hoa to Vung Tau) to intersection No. 8 can turn right onto the road leading to Ben Luc - Long Thanh expressway to go to Phuoc An port, Nhon Trach district (Dong Nai) or go to Ho Chi Minh City.
