Cool mode

On hot, humid days, families often use the cooling mode of the air conditioner, which has a snowflake symbol on the remote control. When this mode is turned on, the room temperature will drop quickly because the compressor works continuously to maintain a stable temperature. The heat in the room will be pushed out and the fan will only stop running when the room temperature reaches the set level.
This working process of the air conditioner requires high power but brings good cooling efficiency, especially on days when the temperature reaches 36 degrees Celsius or higher.
Dry mode

This mode has a water drop icon on the remote control. It is suitable for days when the weather is not too hot (below 36 degrees Celsius) or rainy, with high humidity. The main task of this mode is to reduce humidity in the room to create a cooler, drier atmosphere. Compared to Cool mode, Dry mode operates at a lower capacity, consuming much less electricity.
Because it does not focus on deep cooling but only maintains the room temperature at around 23 degrees Celsius, turning on Dry mode can help you avoid thermal shock when leaving the room.

Sleep mode
This mode is often used at night. Every 1 hour, the air conditioner will automatically increase by 1 degree so that the user does not feel cold while the air flow in the room is still cool and comfortable. This mode helps you save electricity and does not harm your health when using the air conditioner at night. It is very suitable for families with the elderly and children.

On/off timer mode
Nighttime temperatures are often lower than daytime and evening temperatures. Many people have to wake up in the middle of the night to turn off the air conditioner without knowing that there is a timer on/off mode on the machine. Before going to bed, you just need to set the on/off time so that the air conditioner automatically turns off at a certain time. This mode helps you not to be too cold at night and is effective in saving electricity. When the temperature rises in the air near dawn, the air conditioner can automatically turn back on to maintain a cool feeling in the room.
Energy Saver Mode or Fan Smart Mode
These are two modes that help reduce the power consumption of the air conditioner significantly. If you choose one of these two modes, when the room temperature has dropped below the set temperature, the compressor will stop running to save electricity. At the same time, the fans will automatically turn on/off every 2-3 minutes to maintain the temperature. In case the room temperature increases higher than the set level, the compressor and fan will work together again to lower the room temperature. When the required temperature is reached, the compressor will automatically stop running.
Above are the basic modes that almost all air conditioners have. The display and mode settings of each brand may be different, you should carefully read the user manual that comes with the machine.
Choosing the right mode, suitable for your needs and weather conditions, will help you save a significant amount of electricity. On extremely hot days, Cool mode is the right choice because it can help cool better, maintain a stable temperature, creating comfort for the user.
Meanwhile, on days when the weather is not too hot but has high humidity or a lot of rain, the Dry mode will work more effectively. It helps maintain the room temperature at a cool level and helps reduce the feeling of humidity and discomfort. However, you should not use the Dry mode for too long because it can cause dry skin, dry nose, creating an uncomfortable feeling.
