With the goal of building Quang Ninh into an international tourism center, in recent years, tourism infrastructure such as connecting traffic, accommodation facilities, tourism products, etc. have always been of interest to the province, attracting investment. As a major tourist center of the Red River Delta and the whole country, Quang Ninh province has invested synchronously in tourism infrastructure as well as attracted large domestic and foreign investors. Currently, the province is focusing on developing 4 key tourism areas, 91 tourist areas and spots, including 1 national-level tourist area and 5 recognized provincial-level tourist areas. Tourist accommodation facilities in the province have developed rapidly with nearly 2,100 facilities including about 35,900 rooms.
In addition, important infrastructure, facilities and services create tourism products such as: Provincial Museum - Library Complex, Provincial Planning, Fair and Exhibition Palace, Sunworld Entertainment Complex, FLC golf courses, Tuan Chau (Ha Long City), Yoko Onsen Quang Hanh high-end mineral hot spring resort (Cam Pha City). Most recently, a series of tourism infrastructures have been invested in and built in Van Don such as: Wyndham Garden Sonasea Van Don Resort invested by Van Don Tourism Investment and Development Joint Stock Company, with a scale of 200 international 5-star hotel rooms and Angsana Quan Lan Ha Long Bay Hotel invested by Viglacera Van Hai Joint Stock Company, built on an area of 35 hectares, with a scale of 150 international 5-star rooms. Thereby, awakening the potential of high-quality sea and island tourism of Quan Lan - Minh Chau provincial tourist area in particular and Van Don tourism in general throughout the four seasons.
The province has also mobilized large resources from non-budgetary capital to invest in projects, typically Bach Dang Bridge, Ha Long - Van Don Expressway, Tien Yen - Mong Cai Expressway, a number of ports such as Tuan Chau International Passenger Port, Van Don International Airport, Ao Tien Passenger Port, Ha Long International Passenger Port... The development of transport infrastructure has helped tourists access tourist destinations more easily, especially international tourists. This is also one of the driving forces for Quang Ninh to attract a large number of visitors during low seasons such as September and October.

Currently, the tourism industry is developing a project to develop Quang Ninh into a regional and international tourism center with a total budget for implementing key projects of about VND432,825 billion. This capital is expected to invest in connecting traffic infrastructure, ports, and high-class tourism facilities on the islands, meeting the requirements of becoming a regional and international tourism center. Not only at the provincial level, localities also quickly completed tourism development projects, attracting investment to build a 4-season tourism brand. Typically, Dong Trieu Town set the first goal of attracting investors to build and complete a system of accommodation facilities and hotels meeting 3-star standards or higher; a system of large-scale restaurants and food service businesses; a system of synchronous, modern, and quality entertainment areas to serve many types of guests.
