Dear Uncle, I feel like a lucky and happy child. I am loved by my parents, studying in an environment with wonderful teachers and friends. I can learn to draw, play the sport that I love. Although my family is not rich, perhaps the best things my parents have given us. My younger brother said, "Our family is poor but happy, right?" And I suddenly realized that happiness is something as simple as that!

Ms. Le Thi Thanh Hien (mother of student Bang Nhi) said that the family was quite surprised to see her daughter's handwritten letter receiving attention and sharing from many people on social networks.

The male student in the letter is a classmate and neighbor of Bang Nhi, so they are close friends. Hoai's family is in a difficult situation. His father has schizophrenia and his mother left when they were young. The two brothers live with their father and grandparents. Their grandfather is a war invalid and their grandmother is old and weak and cannot work, but she has to take care of Hoai and her three children.

“In grade 3, Bang Nhi wrote an article about good books and was given a book by Mr. Hoang Trong Thuy in Hue .
