On the afternoon of June 23, the Department of Transport (DOT) announced a plan to ban and cut roads to ensure security and order (SOC) and traffic safety (TS) during the conference to review the work of the Public Security in the first 6 months of 2023 of the Ministry of Public Security in Da Nang and the 2023 national high school graduation exam at the end of June.

This plan aims to ensure absolute safety for the leaders of the Party, State, Ministry of Public Security and delegates attending the conference; at the same time, ensure security and order, traffic safety, fire prevention and fighting and rescue, and prevent complicated security and order issues, traffic jams, and fires and explosions during the conference.

Accordingly, from 6:00 to 8:00, 10:30 to 12:00, 13:00 to 14:00 and from 16:30 to 19:00 on June 26, the City Police will organize traffic guidance on Tran Phu, Ly Tu Trong, Bach Dang, Phan Boi Chau, Quang Trung, and Nguyen Du streets.

In particular, Da Nang banned all vehicles from circulating on Bach Dang (Quang Trung - Nguyen Du section), Tran Phu (Nguyen Du - Quang Trung section), Ly Tu Trong (Phan Boi Chau - Bach Dang section).

In particular, on June 26 and 27, organizations and individuals will not start or construct new projects and will temporarily stop construction, clean up, and arrange materials and vehicles to ensure traffic at projects under construction on many routes.

Specifically, Bach Dang, Tran Phu, Ly Tu Trong, 3/2, Le Duc Tho, Hoang Sa, Vo Nguyen Giap, Vo Van Kiet, Nguyen Van Linh, Nguyen Tri Phuong, Dien Bien Phu, Ton Duc Thang, and Hoang Van Thai streets.

The Department of Transport requests the People's Committee of Hai Chau District to notify residential groups, households, agencies, and organizations along the roads and prohibited areas. The People's Committees of districts/counties shall notify the people, agencies, organizations, and businesses in the area to be aware and proactively plan their travel.

The Department of Construction of Da Nang is requested to notify investors and construction project management units in the city for implementation.

The People's Committees of districts and towns notify residential groups, households, agencies, organizations and businesses in the area to know and proactively plan for movement, travel and activities.

Along with that, to serve the 2023 national high school exam, Da Nang also issued a document temporarily suspending the operation of some types of cars during the exam period.

Accordingly, all types of vehicles pulling trailers, semi-trailers; dump trucks (tipper trucks) on all routes in the city will be temporarily suspended, except for the following routes: Hai Van - Tuy Loan Tunnel, La Son - Tuy Loan, Hai Van Pass Road, Ta Quang Buu, Nguyen Van Cu (section from Ta Quang Buu Street to Hai Van Pass Road), National Highway 14B (section from the border of Quang Nam province to Hoa Cam overpass), Hoa Cam overpass (including two access roads on both sides of the bridge), National Highway 1A (section from Hoa Cam overpass to the border of Quang Nam province), Da Nang - Quang Ngai Expressway on June 27, 28, 29, 2023.

The specific suspension time for each type of vehicle is as follows: June 27, afternoon from 1:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.; June 28 and 29, morning from 6:00 a.m. to 7:30 a.m.; noon from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.; afternoon from 3:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. As for the backup test day, June 30, it is expected that some trucks will be temporarily suspended from 6:00 a.m. to 7:30 a.m. in the morning and from 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and will only be implemented upon notice.
