The new Toyota bZ5 2025 has dimensions of 4,780 mm in length, 1,866 mm in width, 1,510 mm in height and a wheelbase of 2,880 mm. Compared to its competitors, the bZ5 stands out with its low, wide and long body, promising a spacious interior and stable operation at high speeds.

The electric Toyota bZ5 is essentially a production version of the bZ3C concept car that attracted attention when it was launched in 2024. The car's appearance is almost unchanged from the concept version. At the front, the car stands out with a horizontal LED strip connecting the sharp "C" shaped headlights.

The front bumper is designed with a strong design with small air vents on both sides and a glossy black trim in the center, adding a sporty look to the electric CUV. The body of the car scores points thanks to its SUV-Coupe style, with the roof sloping slightly towards the rear, creating a smooth and modern look.

The longitudinal lines of the body are more emphasized to increase the visual effect of dynamism. The large 21-inch wheels, stylized 7-spoke design, with 225/45R21 tires, are outstanding details, giving the bZ5 a solid and impressive appearance.

The rear of the car has horizontal LED taillights that are consistent with the front-end design, while the new bZ5 logo in the center of the rear of the car marks the difference from the previous concept model. The interior space of the Toyota bZ5 continues to be loyal to the minimalist but technological style.

The center of the dashboard is a large 15.6-inch floating touch screen, serving entertainment functions and controlling the vehicle's systems. In front of the driver is a narrow digital clock cluster, located deep near the windshield to reduce distraction.

The car has a three-spoke sports steering wheel, a compact gear lever next to two cup holders, a panoramic sunroof, and a 10-speaker JBL sound system that accentuates the interior. In addition, the bZ5 is also equipped with 256-color interior ambient lighting and a "nap" feature, allowing users to lean back and relax when the car stops.

Powering the Toyota bZ5 is an electric motor mounted on the front axle that produces a maximum output of 272 horsepower and a maximum torque of 330 Nm. The vehicle's energy source comes from a lithium-iron-phosphate (LFP) Blade battery pack manufactured by BYD, which is renowned for its safety and longevity.

According to the announcement, Toyota bZ5 can travel up to 630 km after each full charge, according to China's CLTC standard. In real conditions, the travel distance may be lower, but still promises to meet the needs of urban travel as well as long journeys. Fast charging capability is also emphasized, with charging time from 30% to 80% battery in just 27 minutes using a DC charger.

In addition to 9 standard airbags, Toyota bZ5 also integrates the Momenta 5.0 urban driving assistance system on the high-end version, providing level 2 self-driving capability. Other support features such as adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, and automatic emergency braking also appear, helping to improve safety and convenience for the driver.

Toyota bZ5 will be manufactured and distributed by FAW-Toyota joint venture, focusing on young customers who love technology and want a fashionable , efficient electric CUV at a reasonable price. According to plan, Toyota bZ5 will be widely sold in China from June this year.
